LiOM Series – Fiber-coupled LiDAR Laser

Designed for LiDAR scanning, the LiOM S9 laser module has a short pulse duration of 6.5 ns with up to 200 kHz pulse repetition rate. The pulses have the highest power of 200 W. As an option, Monocrom can supply this module with fiber collimation optics.


LiOM S6 is a more robust version of Monocrom’s LiOM S9 model. It has a pulse duration of 100 ns and the highest power of 1000 W. The longer pulses and the higher power affect the pulse
repetition rate, which is 10 kHz.

The LiOM S6 has been designed for iToF application. Monocrom supplies this model in two versions 1000 W and 500 W peak output power from the fiber.

LiOM S10

The need for uniform illumination of the “field of vision” and eye safety is crucial here. Gated imaging is the application that comes close to the supposed flash LiDAR. This is the reason why this module is fitted with a square fiber.

The laser itself has been developed as a CW and can be modified to different pulse rates and durations with suitable driver electronics.
